Our 2024 Pearle* Activity Report highlights our key achievements and initiatives.
As usual the activity report covers the key policy domains of interest to Pearle* in 2024. This year was marked by political changes on the European scene, which were reflected in the work that Pearle* does to promote the performing arts sector in policy making. In 2024, Pearle* notably launched a campaign ahead of the EU Parliament elections, and published its 2024-2029 Priorities paper which was circulated to the newly-elected MEPs in September as well as to the new EU Commissioners who came into their function in December 2024.
In 2024, we continued our collaboration with the European Festivals Association and embarked on a new Erasmus+ project: INSPIRE, which focuses on up- and re-skilling performing arts professionals to future proof the sector in the areas of green, digital, entrepreneurship and resilience/soft skills.
And of course, Pearle* wouldn't exist without its members! The report puts a spotlight on our members which features some of our Pearle* conversations interviews and members' contributions to the "Empower the Live Performance Sector On the European Stage" campaign.
