Pearle* - Live Performance Europe is at the forefront of European policy developments impacting the sector. We advocate for a thriving environment for Live Performance Organisations in Europe & beyond
Pearle * - Live Performance Europe is an international non-profit organisation representing at the European level the interests of employers associations in the live performance sector, as well as cultural managers and individual organisations who organise live events such as concerts or performances or manage a venue, a theatre, or a concert hall.
From the micro level to the macro level, Pearle * provides information and advice to policymakers on policy initiatives and other issues relevant to the sector, while offering first-hand, detailed and tailored information to its members.
As a member of Pearle *, you have a spokesperson in Brussels to represent your interests with the European Institutions. That's why we take an interest in your views, your issues, your questions.
Thanks to our broad expertise and reliance on knowledge and know-how within the Pearle * network, we can offer to all our members an invaluable platform to connect, exchange, learn and benefit from the various international contacts they can establish through the network.
Each year, more than a hundred newsflashes, briefing notes, analyses, consultation papers, in-house publications, etc. are exclusively available to members.
Pearle has two main types of members: full members and associate members.
Full membership of Pearle * is open to established European national associations representing the interest of music and performing arts organisations and are members or employers. Only full members have a right to vote for the General Assembly and can be elected for the Executive Committee.
Individual organisations, non-European associations of employers or managers, and European associations representing employees or managers in the performing arts who are established may become associate members. Depending on the type of service, individual organisations can sign up for basic, plus or full associate membership.
National Associations of employers or managers in the music, performing arts and live performance sector who have their head office legally established in a European country may be full members of Pearle * after acceptance by the General Assembly. Full members are the heart of the association. Only full members have a voting right and can be elected to the Executive Committee.
