In the occasion of the #EuropeForCulture – Closing Conference of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018, taking place on 6 and 7 December in Vienna, Pearle* seeks to give input to the legacy of the EYCH and required follow-up action in the context of EU policy and programmes.

The recommendations presented in this paper build upon the Pearle* publication “Cultural Heritage in the Live Performance” as well as a panel debate Creating a Shared Heritage in the Live Performance With Audiences of Today and Tomorrow organised by Pearle* and several partners in Berlin as a side event of the European Cultural Heritage Summit. Discussions held at meetings with participants of the European Commission EYCH stakeholder group, of which Pearle* is a member, are also taken into account.
