Pearle* provides guidance to its members for musicians travelling through customs with their musical instrument
Following some recent cases of musicians being stopped by custom authorities at the Eurostar in Lille (FR) and Brussles (BE), Pearle* developed a guidance note to help musicians being prepared when travelling with musical instruments to the EU.

Musicians can take their musical instrument as a personal belonging through the 'nothing to declare' exit, however (as is the case for any citizen) custom authorities can still check baggage. Pearle* provides some useful advice to musicians in the event such situation occurs. Pearle* also provides a legal background noite for the associations to advice and support their members.
