MUSIC MOVES EUROPE PREPARATORY ACTION LAUNCH MOMENTUM TO CALL FOR MORE BUDGET FOR CULTURE

Music stakeholders from across Europe call in a letter to President Juncker to support the music sector by giving more funding opportunities for music in future European programs .

On 14 February, Tibor Navracsics was launched in the presence of music stakeholders, including Pearle, a preparatory action for music. The action aims at addressing some of the sector's main challenges, including

1. Offline and online distribution
2. Artist and repertoire development
3. Professionalization and education
4. Export of European music outside Europe

Following the opening by Mr. Navracsics, the initiative was endorsed by several members of the European Parliament.
